Youth Advisory Council
Teens:
We believe that youth play a vital role in the creation of healthy communities, so youth are an important sector represented in our coalition. Our Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a youth group underneath the guidance of MCDAC. They are working on challenging the culture of pro alcohol and drug use within the community, as well as having the important duty of advising MCDAC as to the concerns and interests of youth and teens in Massac County. As YAC members, youth help plan special events and programs for youth.
